I have one on my ankle and the top of my foot. My daughter and son in law run a tattoo shop. I love the art work, but not what people get. I think people need to think about what they get and why. They get people all the time who want to redo and change the one they have.

So.... exactly how bad do the tattoos on the top of the foot hurt?? I have 2 others (back and just above the knee) and am wondering how the foot compares. (BTW.... I have skinny feet)

I have a little fish and it hurt, but my ankle hurt really bad and I had a reaction to the ink I guess. But some people it doesn't bother. My daughter loves to get tattoos.

Shoulder blade & ankle here. Shoulder blade wasn't bad, ankle hurt pretty badly. Hubby has two for now, and the last was on one of his calves. He fell asleep. Pain just depends on the person.

Have a pal who pierces, & he's in business with a couple tattoo artists. If (when?) I get another, I'll get one of them to do it.

I have 6... and i wouldn't go as far as every day, so much more as every month.

It's a form of release, to feel that sting and then go numb, i'd rather be inked up then drugged up.... so yeah.

No...you wouldn't have something to show as an accomplishment. You get a tattoo for representation. The "release" is a wonderful side effect.

You would have representation if you cut yourself in an artistic pattern...
