Let me know how you like it, please. Someone recommended it to me a little while ago, but I've not gotten any of the books yet.

I love the whole Bosch series. They are gritty and tough and suspenseful.

I'm looking for a new fluff series to fill in the time until my regular authors' new books come out. I prefer paranormal, but not sci-fi or horror. High fantasy is OK sometimes but isn't usually my preference. I like my fiction as far from reality as possible, but make exceptions for light-hearted fluff like Janet Evanovich's "Stephanie Plum" series or Rita Mae Brown's "Mrs. Murhpy" mysteries. Can anyone recommend something to fill the next couple of weeks or so?

It won't fill up that much of your time, but you might try The Sacred Book of the Werewolf by Victor Pelevin.

Thanks, I'll write that one down.

You read Jim Butcher, right? Have you read Backup? It's all about Thomas and only 70 pages long, but it's hardback and has a HB price, as well. I'm having a hard time talking myself into buying it.

You don't happen to know Turn Coat's release date, do you? I know it's soon, but for some strange reason I haven't put it on my list. The next releases I'm looking for are:
4/10 - Laurell K Hamilton, "The Laughing Corpse" (HB graphic novel)
4/28 - JR Ward, "Lover Avenged" & Jocelyn Drake "Dayhunter"
5/5 - Charlaine Harris "Dead & Gone"
6/2 - Laurell K Hamilton "Skin Trade"

Bonk by Mary Roach - about science and sex; laugh out loud funny

Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lhari (not sure of the spelling) - short stories; excellent
