Can anybody help me with a good contact number for the PA Department of State? I've been trying to report a problem with an LLC filing, and every time I get a live one on the phone, the response is "we don't investigate fraud- you need to cal xyz department" (yes, I've been referred in a circle).

No real help, but way isn't the customer doing the leg work. Getting the bank in the middle might represent some liability.

From what I can tell so far, it appears that the customer is the one who created the problem.

Did you check out the filing on the state corporation website? You can get some information for no charge and then get more if needed for a fee. Let me know if you need the website or more info. Also wondered if you could contact the Atty General if you feel there is a problem with a PA business.

Yes, I did look up the info on the DOS website. That's how I discovered the discrepancy.
