I love Harlan Coben. I like the way he writes and I have read almost everything he has written.

Finished The Road last night. I thought it was dark and I cannot imagine how it will be a movie. Too dull for a movie, IMO.

I like the way he writes too. Usually a fast read for me because he moves the story along nicely.

Shutter Island was fantastic. I had the twist figured out about 100 pages from the end.

I can't wait to see the movei in the spring.

This doesn't take away from the book though. It really is wonderful. If she wants to be an author there is a lot in that novel she can learn about character development

Thanks Buccs, I haven't wrapped it up yet because I wasn't so sure.

Maybe I'll make it a present to me and maybe pass it on to her if I decide that's something that I want her to read.

I just picked up #11 in the Dresden Files...the library did have it. I'm almost finished with #10. I also picked up a compilation of the first 24 Sherlock Holmes stories. I've never read any of them and thought it might be fun since I want to see the new movie coming out next week.

I love Julie Garwood books. I have read most of hers. Have one or two yet to read and just ordered the pre-release of Fire and Ice in Paperback. Will have to wait for Sizzle to come out in paperback too.

VolOps - I have that whole series. They are good stories. I like how each one builds from the last and is from a different perspective. smile

Harlan Coben is great! You'll enjoy all his books. If you like Harlan Coben, you would probably like Linwood Barclay. I'm almost finished with his book "Too close to Home."

I, Alex Cross: finished it a few minutes ago - easy read (as always), liked the ending, disliked the premise of the death of a "close" relative to sell the story - it didn't need it.

Agreed! I'm waiting for the pricer to decrease on Amazon for my Kindle!

Have you checked out the Barnes and Noble eReader? It looks really cool.
