Did anyone watch the season finale last Thursday? I saw most of it but I am going to sit down and rewatch it. Do you think that psycho lady is really going to cut the baby out of Violet? She and Pete were supposedly getting together right? And is Naomi really going to leave the practice? There were some really good clffhangers there.

I thought it was way too over the top when it came to the psycho lady and Violet. To me, it was in the same vein as jumping the shark.

I could see the rest, but the whole Violet story line is too over the top for me.

It creeped me out and I didn't realize it was the season finale. I was hoping to watch this week when someone saved her.

The sick thing is that this story line wasn't made up by the writers. This has happened at least twice that I can remember seeing on the national news.

It happened in Pittsburgh not too long ago. It made all of the news stations here.

It scares me that someone will watch this is decide that it's an option for them and try it.

You also gotta say - Violet is/was a lousy therapist if she couldn't spot that her patient was in such a bad way, and she ignored her colleagues' warnings.

My thought is that Violet is going to go into labor and she will convince the psycho to let her have it naturally which will give her time for someone to find her.

That is a very good spin on the situation Spring. I hadn't thought of that, but it is entirely possible. Let's hope the writers go that direction.

I thought Violet was the one that thought the patient was in such a bad way (it seemed to me like Violet was suddenly frightened by her actions) and one of the guys said to think about it before reporting her.

I was getting annoyed. I agree with whoever said this was jumping the shark.

OK
I saw an article about how Shonda Rimes (sic?) researches and only puts cases in Gray's Anatomy that have actually happened. So I'm sure they are not going to do anything different in Private Practice. She has a medical background and knows her stuff.

The phone is going to ring or someone will be at the door or something. They can't lose Violet and the baby!!!

But someone was at the door - I don't know character's names too well on that show. The doctor who has been watching over her - not one of the possible fathers. He just got to the door and his girlfriend calls and says she just got fired from that competing practice downstairs.

Maybe what they'll do is switch her and Natalie.

Yep...the one time Cooper actually puts his girlfriend first is when Violet really needed him.

Did anyone watch the season premier last night. They sure didn't make much of Pete finding her. He came in and then they were at the hospital. And what about the psycho showing up at the hospital and asking for Cooper? I didn't see that coming?

I was glad that they tied up the story line, but as always, it's all about Addison and I'm tired of that. Almost turned it off when Addison was going on about how SHE's the one who has to take care of everyone.

Please STOP calling her Na, her name is Naomi. If they wanted a knickname, they should have picked something that made sense.

There are some moments in the show that keep me coming back, but it isn't DVR-worthy anymore.

I wish they would decide who the father or Violet's baby is.

In case you missed it, this show IS about Addison. It is a spin-off from Greys Anatomy that was built around the Addison character.
