I don't care for Culver's. There is one here and we went once. I don't expect to go back. Yes, it could have been a bad day, but the burger tasted like a hockey puck.

thank you ms and JJ. I guess I didn't bother to look for one since it originated in WI, I thought it was an upper midwest place.

I've been to Red Robin once. What a nightmare. It was like a Chuckey Cheeze without the balls. From the sign outside, I expected a more adult environment. The food was not worth the money. I can get better cheaper.
My favorite fast food place is Backyard Burgers. Had one last night. As I finished the last bite, I contemplated buying a second just to continue the taste-fest. I don't care about fries, so that doesn't affect my choice.
The local paper has an annual survey and a local chain called Fat Mo's always wins. They are good, they are huge (I've seen the meat hanging outside the sytrofoam box on to-go orders), but my cholesterol can't afford them.
Jimmy Buffet's favorite place in Nashville was Rotier's, I believe. I've heard it was the inspiration for the song, but have also heard that contradicted.

5 Guys is my new favorite. Cheeseburger in Paradise is good for atmosphere and drinks, the one here has live music on the weekends, but the food is not that good imo. The Bison burgers at Ted's Montana Grill are also wonderful. I also love In-n-Out, but only get to enjoy them when I visit Las Vegas. OMG, now I'm hungry.

We used to have Back Yard Burgers here. I really liked them too. It was also one of the only places you could get a grilled hot dog.
They all went out of business. I really liked them, I just think people felt they were too expensive. They were $5 burgers and this was 10 years ago, when most burger combo meals were still 2.99 - 3.99.
They also did not have a place to eat inside, only pic nic tables. Come winter, not too many people wanted to eat outside.
Edited because i have "Dipster" typing skills today.
