Does anyone know where I can find the model language for the Disclosure we're required to give out to pension plans, trusts, etc. regarding the FI's PCA category and whether pass-through insurance is available? I can find it reference in FILs but cannot locate the model language. Thanks.

I sent you an email with model verbiage.

My question is, however...since the insurance coverage no longer hinges on the bank's capital condition, do we still have to provide these disclosures?

Brenda, I have also asked FDIC both questions, and they said "they will call me back after consulting with their attorney" in a few days. Will let you know what they say.

The notice used to be required by section 330.14(b). That paragraph was removed in amendments published 3/23/06 in the Federal Register, pursuant to provisions of the Federal Deposit Insurance Reform Act of 2005 and the Federal Deposit Insurance Reform Conforming Amendments Act of 2005.
