oh drats!!!! I can't keep up!

When the show first started Jon used to say that Kate never bought anything or did anything for herself. Now she's a power shopper and schedules spa days...quite a difference.

Even if the cheating rumors aren't true for either of them, I think it would be difficult to have your life filmed all the time and function as a normal married couple.

They are filmed about 3 days a week, not 24/7, but I agree, she seems to have been affected much more than Jon. He clearly wants to stop doing the show, but she wants to continue, even wants to get her own talk show.

He likes the money, but seems willing to give it up. She likes the fame, but doesn't like the paparrazi, and is not yet ready to give it up.

For me, when she took the kids to Party City and one of them said look there is the paparazzi, that was it for me.

I would up and end the show right there. For her to see she is doing this all for them is just baloney.

I think she enjoys the attention, and I think that Jon is tired of it.

Wonder if that estate they just moved to is paid for.

Nope, they are paying mortgages on this house and their old house that they have been unable to sell.

I was surprised they are only paid $25-50,000 per episode, as has been reported in some mags....

Pale, I read it was $70,000 per episode, with 30+ episodes in the last season. Not sure I would have a mortgage with that kind of income!

I thought I read somewhere that TLC bought them their new house?

I read a quote by Jon or Kate (can't remember which) about the mortgages. If its true or not, don't know.

ok, that's just stupid. Government's going to construe filming them in their home as 'labor'?! If they had a viable source of income from something other than the show, I'd say it was time for them to kick the media out. I doubt she makes enough from her book tours to support a family of ten. All the kids will be in school come fall so what will there be left to film anyway?

Man am I glad that I am not the only one. Burn me in effigy if you like but I DESPISE this show. I doubt that I would watch it if the woman was a saint (not my kind of show anyway) but she drives me insane. My wife DVRs this show and we have had to come to the same agreement we have about Oprah - I won't be in the house when it is on. She either watches it when I am not there or if she is tired of me and wants to send me scurrying to the sports bar she settles in for a marathon. Glad that I am not the only one!!

I like it because of the children. The other night one of them won a "froggus" (toy or candy frog) as a prize.

When they were putting the solar panels on their new house, one of the chidren said, "There's the cherry picker." Another one said, "No, it's a blueberry picker." (It was blue in color!)

This show has never interested me, and the most I've seen is a few seconds while channel surfing.

Then again, there are a whole host of "reality" shows that I have never bothered to watch. I did watch an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and I am now looking for the address to write so I can request a refund of the 30 minutes of my life spent watching!

I feel horrible for those kids!!! I think Jon and Kate both suck, just my honest opinion. I think they are toxic together and I am saddened that those poor kids have to grow up in that environment. Who would want cameras around ALL the time?! I hope they grow up normal but I would be surprised if that happened...

Did anyone watch the show last night? Is Kate playing the "poor me" role or what!?! Everything she's done has been for her kids - yeah, and you too, Kate!

Kind of funny that Jon just happened to be out west instead of at home on Kate's birthday.

Too bad Jon and Kate have to be in the show. Wish there was a way to have just the kids on the show. They're great.

I was dissappointed that the whole hour seemed to be footage before last week's opening show. Nothing after.............

Last night's show was saddening... Poor kiddos.. Especially with the little girl telling Jon she didn't want him leaving anymore. They're both living in different worlds.. Jon seems completely done with it all, partying a lot apparently, showing up in some tricked out 350Z.. Kate seems to be acting like the victim who pretends things are sooo perfect with her personally and the kids (imo). With all their troubles why would they continue the show for their kiddos to see. $$$$$

Is everyone as sick of this media circus as I am? Geesh! Their 15 minutes of fame were up an hour and a half ago. Who really cares? Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!

Now they are going to have a big announcement on Monday's show. Are they going to pull the plug on the show? Do you think that they've decided to actually divorce?
