And that he is truly an empty suit? If anyone thinks that, I'm becoming convinced they are dead wrong. And that his lack of leadership is showing? I think you have to ask yourself *who* he is leading before you say he's lacking.

It took 8 years to bring the U.S. to it's knees on W's watch, let's at least give the guy the rest of his term and then judge his performance. Sign on Obama's desk: THE BUCK JUST PASSES BY HERE. I just find it strange that anyone would actually approve of this message. I don't remember GWB blaming anything on Clinton...EVER. I don't remember Clinton blaming anything on Daddy Bush or Reagan. I actually don't remember Reagan blaming anything on Carter. In Obama's first 100+ days, he's blamed (and apologized for) Bush, Clinton, Daddy Bush, Reagan, Carter, Johnson, Nixon, Eisenhower, Truman, Roosevelt...and pretty much everyone else all the way back to Christopher Columbus and the Queen of Spain for sending him.

no one has listed any promise he made and kept ...still waiting... He promised to take Michelle to a Broadway play after the election. And he did at great taxpayer expense.

I just have one word for anything you want to blame Obama for:
INHERITED Indeed, inherited from his cronies in the Democratic Party who didn't do their jobs.

Not really. I clicked on the link of his successes and I would argue that those are four he has not kept. In fact one of them Bush did for him.
I bet there is a lot of truth to the link but it depends on your perspective.

so "truth" varies with perspective? I believe so, at least that what Ms. Sotomayor tells me...

Bobby, I'd never used it before, but I guess that PolitiFact.com, is a site that scrutinizes the accuracy of claims made by presidential candidates.
I first heard about it during the Bush years. They are tracking 500 of Obama's campaign promises.
According to them:
The Obameter Scorecard Promise Kept 30 Compromise 8 Promise Broken 6 Stalled 9 In the Works 64 No Action 397 I'll try to check it out later, especially since GT associated the dreaded "P" word with it. Thanks!

OK for example it says he ended the war with Iraq. If you remember, right up before he took the oath of office, Bush ended the war. But on the link credit is given to BO.

so "truth" varies with perspective? Absolute Truth - Inflexible Reality "Absolute truth" is defined as inflexible reality: fixed, invariable, unalterable facts. For example, it is a fixed, invariable, unalterable fact that there are absolutely no square circles and there are absolutely no round squares. Sorry to go back to this, but just wanted to point something out. My son at the age of around 2 drew a shape on a piece of paper and showed it to me proudly. I said, beaming, "that is the best circle I have ever seen - it is so round and perfect!" He smirked and took the piece of paper from me, and as he was walking away he said "it ska-ware". To him, it was truly and invariably a square. The truth from my perspective, though, was that was the cr@ppiest square I'd ever seen.
