Is anyone else out there an ER fan? I was a little confused with last night's episode. Is Carter leaving the show?

I have not see it yet - taped it, but he signed a long-term deal, so I know he is not leaving.

I watched it last night. I saw him on a talk-show some time over the summer and he just stated his character was going to change a little. I don't think he's leaving.

He'll be back...

At least I hope so.

I thought that last night's episode was somewhat disturbing and pretty graphic for television.

As I understand it, (we discussed this on break this A.M.), Carter's wife is going to have a baby (really) and he is taking a little time off for the occasion. He will be back. I think someone said around mid season....

I didn't see it last night......

But it has been a great show....

He is taking off the next six weeks for family leave, according to reports in the TV Guide. They are going to spend time introducing two new characters - and Bob Newhart will be on three episodes in the coming weeks.

Loved the end of last night's show - but I won't say what happened for those of you who taped it and haven't watched it yet.

Not half as graphic as CSI. Thought I was going to lose it with the guy found in the bathtub!!

I had a hard time watching the show Thursday night. It was pretty graphic and disturbing. But ya know what, my husband and I had a good discussion afterwards about how lucky we are to live in the country that we live in even when times are bad. We could be living in the countries oversees and live a life they portrayed on the show. I am glad that Kovach did not go off the show. They probably will keep Carter abroad in the Congo for the six weeks after the baby is born. He better come back. They have already lost very good characters on the show.

I didn't get to see the show (Cigar night at the club). My yuppy lifestyle is getting in the way of my television viewing schedule big time!

So did Kovach die? And BTW if they make Carter into a bad dude, I'll pull his granny from the grave and have her straighten him out! I like him sweet!
