My institution is looking to purchase budgeting software and give up on the excel spreadsheets we are currently using. If anyone can recommend a good budgeting software I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!!

Check with your current data processor. They often have either a built-in budgeting application with the ability to automatically interface into your GL.

I have used Fidelity's Financial Manager in the past. It was reasonably priced and did what I needed it to do.

Skyline's advice is good, too. You don't want to re-invent the wheel.
