I'm trying to make a game for an upcoming training session and I can't remember the name of that show where several hot bodies (sure they're "average people") compete with each other, doing stunts on high wires (scary stuff) and eating bugs....

Anyone know it?

Makes you want to come to my training sessions huh? LOL

Just make sure they are from a low-moderate income bug household.

You learn something new every day. I always wondered how to spell "Muhahahaha". I think that is also what you say after you eat a worm.

Questions, is it the winner or loser eating these bugs, and where do you shop?

Heh Heh, when I get it finished I'll share. It's for my CRA training at the CRA Fair Lending conference in November. (Who's going?) I have a great example of a fair lending game done at their last conference, but I was thinking I'd put a Dawnie swing on it and make people eat bugs

I shop at a bait shop....well bait shop for fat people. We have a candy store that carries gummy everything, snakes, spiders, bugs, etc. I'm sure I'll have fun shopping in there

Speaking of Fear Factor.....did anyone catch last night's episode? I missed the very end and am wondering if the guy that had to bet half of his $50,000 ended up with a better hand than the dealer.

The guy actually ended up winning about $90,000.00 so he bet around $45,000.00. The dealer ended up busting while the guy held at 16. He came out pretty good on that one...

Did someone win the car on roulette - I only saw the first episode. Who actually won the whole thing - which guy?

I'm going to be at the Colloquium, too. I'm speaking at the last session of the conference, with Tim Burniston and Barbara Kierstead.

The guy with the spikey hair won the whole thing and the other guy won the car

I didn't see the first episode and only half of the second so I don't know the names but the African-American guy won the car and the tall thin guy with dark spiky hair won the overall game. I was sort of glad I missed the first episode, those walking spider things they made them eat would have made me throw up (I have a spider phobia anyways.)

You couldn't have paid me $1 million to eat one of those cave spiders, I am with you egb, I have a MAJOR spider phobia!! I don't think I could have even picked one up! The other two guys were eating them like candy!

I hope you're speaking to the entire group Jim. I don't want to miss it.

I'm teaching the pre-conference CRA Essentials and I think I'm yapping to the group on the last day on a panel covering profitability but I'm going to have to check that schedule. They're still rounding out the panel so I haven't put too much time into it yet.

Anyone know what the weather will be like? I wouldn't want to freeze to death

Yes, it's a general session. The title is "The Right Risk Based Approach for Examination Preparation". It's supposed to also kind of bring together all of the other key issues of the conference as a final wrapup.

Weather in Atlanta in early November will most likely include high temps in the mid to upper 60's and lows in the mid to upper 40's. (Almost like summer, huh?) Probably the most exciting news to you will be that there will be about 11 hours between sunrise and sunset. Should be about 2 1/2 hours more per day than you'll be getting at that time of year in Anchorage.
