I love George Carlin! Do you ever wonder, with everything that is said on TV & in the movies today, if it bothers him that he was fired for saying booger on the radio?

George Carlin Asks.......

Can you cry under water?

How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?

If money doesn't grow on trees, then why do banks have branches?

Since bread is square, then why is sandwich meat round?

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"...but it's only a "penny" for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?

Once you're in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity?

Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

What did cured ham actually have?

How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?

Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours?

If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?

If you drink Pepsi at work in the Coke factory, will they fire you?

Why are you IN a movie, but you are ON TV?

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

How come we choose from just two people for President and fifty for Miss America?

Why do doctors leave the room while you change? They're going to see you naked anyway.

If a 911 operator has a heart attack, whom does he/she call?

and finally...
Why is "bra" singular and "panties" plural?

***I used to have a handle on life...but it broke off.***

I just recently had dish-TV installed and got to see the Daily Show for the first time. I laughed until my head hurt! Hey, there's an idea for a new smiley face; one holding his head because he has been laughing so hard....(yes I know they don't have hands)

The Daily Show is one of the best programs I have seen in a long time in the humor arena. I can't get it anymore where I live, they used to do re-runs of the previous night's show at 5:30 every day. Elena, what channel is it on?

There are almost too many to list:

Robin Williams
Steve Martin
Rondell Sheridan
Steven Wright
Whoopi Goldberg
Sam Kinison
Gilda Radner
Bill Cosby
George Carlin

- do I have to choose just one?

Nope, choose as many as you like. Asking for one is like asking me for my favorite band or song. There are just too many good ones out there!

I totally agree! I saw him at a casino once and I swear I've never laughed so hard!!!! I also love Eddie Murphy! Raw and Delirious are two of the best stand-up comedy videos ever!

Hey, I don't think I'm an old fart yet,(40 this December), but Harvey Kourman (sp) and Tim Conway still make me laugh until I could wet my pants , I can remember coming in from playing with all the neighborhood kids on Saturday evening so I wouldn't miss the Carol Burnett show. I LOVED Mrs. Whiggins (sp). Man, now that was some great comedy!!!
