My goodness, Pam, you are planning ahead! I hope to see you there in my Reg E, Regs D/Q, and E-Compliance classes. That would mean I would still be doing those classes, and I enjoy it a lot!

I attended the school @IUPUI this year. I may attend the "graduate" level school in 2004 but only if I can schedule/prepare for the CRCM test at the end.

Good school and a nice facility.

Have to plan this far ahead, it's budget time and I want to make sure management includes the dough!

I'm with John - assuming they ask me back, I'll be teaching Flood & HMDA. Please introduce yourself when you see me.

That'll probably be my last school as a board member. The Grad and Under Grad schools run concurrently in March so it is a lot of people and a lot of fun.

On your way home from that school you can hit the San Francisco Federal Reserves CRA training. One week of bank cheerleaders and investment guys trying to sell you stuff! (I always make it) Actually for you CRA folks, be sure to put it on your calandar...on your way home from ABA of course

Pam does make a good point about budget time coming up though. I will probably not be able to go to the ABA school, but I would like to plan for maybe a "BOL Conference ?", any plans in the works? Many like me may need to start the process now for next year.

Do you know the dates of the school? I'd love to be able to go, but would have to start mentioning it now.

March 12-18, 2004 in Indiana. Those dates are if you attend both modules. (Deposit and Lending)

Can anyone explain the difference between the ABA National Compliance School (Indiana) and the ABA Regulatory Compliance Conference? (Chicago)
I am so confused...

Hey Maria:
I think the school is more coverage of specific regulations. The conference is just highlights of changes, etc. Someone who teaches at the school could probably provide a better answer.

The School is a "nuts and bolts" of how each regulations works. The Conference is more about theory - upcoming regulations, risk management, things that may come, meetings with the regulators, meetings with top officials from HUD, the Treasury, etc.
