According To Nancy Pelosi

I think this quote is interesting, but only partially correct.

What I see happening is that the Democrats have turned into a giant community organization, another ACORN, if you will. They are now using community organization tactics to get their way, and when their own tactics are used against them, they don't know how to react except in a community group fashion, in other words, demonize the person rather than respond to the opposing position.

P.S. I would be nice if the good folks in California would see to not re-elect Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Waxman, but I don't think that's gonna happen.

I just read this. It causes me to pause and wonder if Ms. Pelosi has never attended a protest from a community group who is using the CRA to extort concessions from banks trying to merge.

She has a strange defintion for facts. These are all assertions. The left asserts they can pass reform that will not cost more, cover more people and allow for choice. The right asserts this is not realistic. Neither of these positions are facts. They are opinions.

I seem to remember seeing John Kerry at a protest when he was young. Is he now saying he was wrong?

I seem to remember Clinton admitting to protesting the Vietnam War when he was in Britain? Wrong, again?

Million Man March. Wrong?

March from Selma? Shut up?

Woodstock? Paid Operatives?

Those are different. Those were liberals protesting conservatives silly. And they were organic. No organizing behind them like these shameful displays.

Madam Speaker says the protestors are coming to meetings with swastikaaaaaaaaas and symbols like that and infering that we are Nazis....

but it was the Nazis that completed the takeover of private healthcare in the 1930's that the Kaiser started years before..

The March from Selma wasn't a liberal protest. I remember pictures of Charlton Heston marching with MLK, Jr.

She is mentally ill. People showed up with Swastikas with circles and lines through them. Their signs might have been a little extreme, like when the left called Bush Hitler, over and over, but they weren't carrying Swastikas. is that the best retort communists can come up with, "but they're Nazis, so we're better."

If nothing else, this issue has gotten a lot of people off their sofas and in to the political machine. We're darned lucky to live in a country where we are allowed to voice our opinions.
