If we have an advertisement that doesnt require the Equal Housing Lender and legend on it, is it alright if we just put "equal housing lender", or do we still have to include the little outhouse legend? I am not sure why its on there since its not required but i am just making sure its ok.

If it is not required, then you can do what you want.

Now that's funny. First time I've heard the doghouse referred to the little outhouse! grin

The investment area wants to put a message on a statement that generally advertises home equity loans. The statement cannot print the image of the house, just the verbige. Must both the house and verbiage print or would the verbiage only be permissible for this particular piece of material? Thank you.

The “Equal Housing Lender” logo must be used in any written or visual advertisement of any loan for the purpose of purchasing,
constructing, improving, repairing, or maintaining a dwelling or any loan secured by a dwelling.

goingtoexperts - yes

ahkcompliance - no unless the ad stating the new branch hours advertises a loan I described above.
