Some thoughts --

  1. Make sure your privacy statement is straightforward and in plain language
  2. Make your service visually appealing and easy to use
  3. Avoid "glitz" and emphasize substance
  4. Have an excellent reputation for quality service in the bricks and mortar arena
  5. Make the rest of your Web site attractive, or you'll never "get them in the door."
  6. Price it attractively, but don't give it away

As to John's pricing point, we give away home banking, but not bill pay services. That is the norm in my part of the market.

You might also add, market the product. That may be with all your advertising, separately, and especially at the new accounts desk.
