I am curious, who/what depatment is responsible for regulation E disputes in your bank? We are in the middle of settling a decision on which department will ultimately be responsible for carrying out these procedures.

Curiously, in our Bank it is our Bankcard Dept., mostly because the majority of the Reg E disputes we receive are on debit cards. But we're a small bank, and they are also part of our Operations group.

At my prior community bank it was the Electronic Banking Department, part of Deposit Ops. They managed Reg E, billpay setups, Cash Management setups, credit and debit cards and consumer online banking.
