We have a customer who insists on dropping off their deposit to be worked without waiting for it. In my past banks we had the customer sign a "Later Verification" form to allow us to work the deposit in their absence. Do any of your have customers who request this and what do you record?

we put their deposit in a plastic coin bag with a tear-off strip/receipt, seal it and give them the receipt.
