I guess if you were a positive you could say that Six Flags over Georgia now has 23 new water rides

I read the 911 call this morning for the 39 year old woman who drowned in her car on the way home from work. It gave me cold chills. Just horrible. She left a husband and two young children.

I heard the same news clip DS. It was horrible and just gave me the chills. That poor family!

I also thought, at the same time, that 911 employees are special people and a rock. I couldn't have done what that 911 lady did. She tried so hard to "anchor" that lady to her through the phone. She was calm, cool and collected the entire time. They can't be paid enough for what they do.

I forgot to add by reason for coming to this thread! Thinking of you out that way. Stay safe. They said on the news this a.m. that 1/4 of water can take a vehicle away.

I just can't imagine being her family and listening to that call though.

We've had some awful bad rain and storms here with flooding and school closings here in Alabama....but nothing like what Atlanta looks like!!!! I can't even begin to imagine what those poor people must be going through...especially those dealing with the loss of their loved ones!!!! My heart aches for them!!!:(

saw a picture of water up to the roof of every house in a subdivision, caption on the photo said "houses in Atlanta suburb with several feet of water..." Umm, that's at east 9 feet of water, well past several...
