FINALLY ABOVE the gnat line
The Tallahassee TV station reported this morning, that FSU has procedures in their Disaster Recovery Plan to deal with flesh-eating, life impaired individuals! One of their staff decided to lighten things up a bit and include what to do in the event of zombies in their plan! What a hoot!

Enough to get me to my car...Then home where there's about 500. wink

Plus, never rely on a gun in a zombie outbreak. Guns run out of ammo, axes, machetes, baseball bats, and hammers don't!

No place is safe...only safer.

I saw Zombieland last night - it was freakin' hilarious! The laughed none stop for the first 20-25 minutes! It may sneak into my top 5 zombie flicks of all time!

Alright saw it Saturday night. It was good for a laugh, but still graphic enough that no children should be watching it IMO. But definitely good for a laugh.

Probably why it was rated "R" in the first place...The cameo in it was great, but I'm not say anymore - I don't want to spoil it.

I thought it was pretty good. 2 things really bothered me though:

1. Columbus seemed like the cheap version of a Michael Cera charachter. I'm thinking the director wrote the part with him in mind but couldn't case him for whatever reason.

2. It really, really, seemed like a mediocre American version of Shawn of the Dead.

Shawn of the Dead is tough to beat...Great zombie flick!

I really liked it. Maybe I was just in a weird mood when I saw it, but I laughed my a$$ off for the first 20-30 minutes or so...Plus, the way they included the rules text througout the movie was pretty cool - kind of like "Fringe."

There were some slow parts, but overall, I thought it was a good movie. Not enough zombies though, and I'm more of a classic slow zombie fan versus running zombies. I mean, I don't like runnning now, why would I once I became a zombie?!?!?

The rules were great. That was probably the funniest part of the movie.

I can't wait for World War Z. The book was amazing.

I hope they do that movie right...The book was awesome! I also listened to the audiobook this summer. If they used that as the basis for the movie, I could live with it. Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) did the voice for the soldier from the "Battle of Yonkers." Great voice cast, even though it was abridged!

Don't sayu anything beyond the rules thing or you spoil it for th other BOLers. Suffice it to say though, that absent the dark humor, it would have been a good horror movie too.

I saw it yesterday and really really liked it. It was definitely up there with Shaun of the Dead. That kid is definitely like Michael Cera but I still enjoyed it.

The cameo was great. Did anyone stay until after the credits?

Did you see the trailer for the new Nightmare on Elm Street? Kelly Leak is the new Freddy Kreuger. Looks good....

Yes, I think this remake will be alot darker because there will be no humor involved as in the other Nightmare flicks.

I just ordered all 8 of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies; the 8th being Freddy v. Jason from Amazon for $20. I haven't seen them in a long time.

Its definitely Halloween season!
