Im looking for some guidance on where i can find information on this subject or if someone knows if they could let me know that would be great. The situation, as it was explained to me, is that we had a customers check come throught the bank and be returned twice (the check was for $600). The third time it came through it had a $2 dollar return fee added to it by the bank that was trying to cash the check (so the total debit out of the customers account was $602). My question is can the bank cashing the check charge the fee to our customer and add it to the amount debited from the account?
