Has anyone come up with a good handy tool for calculation the rate to determine if loan is in the high price bucket? Links would be appreciated!

The FFIEC has a tool where you can test individual loans. It also provides the APOR tables that you can download for more automated approaches to test large batches of files or to integrate a test function in your loan origination platform. Both are located HERE.

Have you checked with your lending software provider yet?? Generally they should be updating your software to include these items.

Isn't mortgagebot just an electronic application taker? I don't see who they would do the comparison.

Right, I meant ARTA Lending.....so, anyone using ARTA and have they come up with any tools?

From what I'm told, ARTA has a component that will test for HOEPA and will now test for HPML status as well.

Your IT people and processing people should already be aware of and testing these upgrades.
