I want to see it, but I heard it was very dark and disturbing and not for kids.

Saw it but didn't love it. I wouldn't call it 'dark' or 'disturbing'. I did think it didn't flow very well, tho. Didn't hold the attention of the 2+yr old grangirl. And the dirt fight was 'naughty, Mima'. It was too disjointed for the 7 yr old to follow really well. The 12 yr old and her mother thought it was like a 'bad foreign film in English'.

They did love 'Meatballs' that they'd seen with their mother earlier in the week. I can't wait for A Christmas Carol even tho I'm not overly fond of those 3D glasses. I've always loved the story in any of the adaptations I've seen.

Running and riding everywhere ...
I want to see it. While shopping in KC this weekend I saw a ton of Wild Things merchandise. I really wanted one of the t-shirts...but resisted the urge.

Pulling people out of the ditc...
i'd like to see it, but haven't been inside a movie theater since May, so likely will miss this as well and just wait the DVD...the cost of bringing 3 or 4 to the movies with popcorn and drinks is now more than taking the family out to a nice dinner...last time the 4 of us went, we spent over $100...

Way, way south.
I just can't get into those types of movies, and I thought Meatballs was pretty carppy too (no offense to those who liked it).

The last great kids movie I saw was Madagascar I and II.

I saw it but wasn't terribly impressed. I guess I was thinking it would be something else based on the previews. Sorry to be such a Doug Downer. :whaah-whaaaahhh:

I'm interested to see how they made a 10-sentence book into a feature length picture. I've been doing wild rumpuses all my life!
