Anyone going to see this documovie? I caught it last night, and whether you are a fan or not, he was one *heck* of an entertainer. What a concert that would have been.....

I heard a review on the radio today. The reviewer admitted that he wasn't a big MJ fan, but that this film demonstrates why MJ was a big as he was. He said the creativity, production, and execution were second to none and that it was obvious this would have been a huge comeback for MJ and showed that he still had "it."
I may go see it.

I wish I could go see it, but I probably won't be able to. It isn't supposed to be in theatres long, is it? I wonder if they will put it on DVD.

I was a fan until Thriller (yes, even at my age!) and then he just got too weird. The guy could move. It was like he was one with the music.

I will wait to see it on DVD. It doesn't seem like the kind of movie I wanna shell out $10.00 to see in the theatre.

Saw it today and loved it. What an amazing talent he was. Wow -That was going to be one amazing concert to attend.
I thought Kenny Ortega did a great job putting the footage together. It was very entertaining, and MJ looked in good shape. It was G-rated ... every age in attendance. It was good to see him at work - doing what he loved. Many were tapping their feet or nodding their head with the music. The audience clapped when it ended.
I remember feeling sorry for all those dancers and musicians and technicians who worked so hard rehearsing and preparing, only to not get to perform. They were so proud to be working with MJ and must have been so sad and disappointed, in addition to grieving for Michael.
I look forward to seeing it again.
You'll enjoy it, Dip!

So much for the 'limited engagement'; it's now being reported "This is It" will run through at least Thanksgiving weekend.....

My mom and I both enjoyed it last ngiht. It was beign shown in the BIG theater and there were only 3 or 4 other couples watching. So we had our pick of seats.
I really like that they played full songs. I really like that you get to see MJ in his element, away from paparazzi and media. I liek that the dancers, back-up vocalists, and band members still got their tiem in the spotlight via thsi movie. And I liek at the end hwo it did nto show his timeline, but rather "Michael Jackson. King of Pop. Love lives forever."
I didn't cry btu I did get choked up. He was a realyl sensitive and humble man, and incredibly dedicated to hsi art. I also enjoyed his talk abotu the Earth.

Well I've nwo seen the MJ movie 3.5 times. Soem idiot at school brought in a really bad quality bootleg copy and we had it on during class... Was the kind where someone filmed it while in the theater--was blurry, sound wasn't great. Woudl have ruined it for me if I hadn't seen it in the theaters first. SO glad I did!!
