Thanks everyone for all your thoughts and messages. Ever better news this week! My PET scan came back clear of cancer, and the doctor said I can have my chemo port removed! I can't wait! They're still seeing 5 spots on my lung, but they're very small, and not growing - so good news all around. The doctor wanted to biopsy the biggest of them, but when I asked if there were any potential complications to doing that, she said 50-50 chance of collapsing my lung. So I naturally replied: "We won't be doing that then..."  I feel good (except for the port in my chest), whatever the nodules on my lung are, they're not bothering me, not growing, and they didn't light up as cancer on the PET scan...so it looks like it's watching and maintenance from here on. I'm going to spend my time re-training my eating habits, exercising more and dropping weight. Keeping positive and cancer free for 15 months!

FBH, that is wonderful news!! Here' hoping that you become " a boring cancer patient" from now on, nothing new to tell the dr, nothing new on any scans, noting new in the cancer world for you at all!!!!!
