A local police chief in Florida says Tiger Woods' wife used a golf club to smash out the back window and helped get the golfer out of the car.

On ESPN radio today, they are saying they are going to release the 911 tape. I bet it will be hilarious.

So, if anyone of us had hit a tree and hydrant, would we be able to tell the police that we just didn't want to talk to them?

Definitely seems like there's a background story here.

There was no crime committed so he's well within his rights to refuse to talk. Even if there was a crime, he would only have to answer under a subpoena, and even then he'd have the 5th clause.

But honestly I smell the smelly smell of something that smells smelly. He's not doing himself (or his image) any favors.

<<<< finds the whole Mrs. Woods had to use the golf club to smash out the windows to rescue Tiger kind of fishy. Seems like a good explanation for why the windows were smashed in a rage before or as he drove off. My money is on the spat with the wife.

Me too. And from the pictures, it was driver, passenger, rear driver, and rear passenger windows all smashed out. Either she's one lousy rescuer or it was a fight.

the real deal....

Quote:
The unofficial version of events, however, is that the pair had been rowing following a report in National Enquirer magazine last week that Mr Woods, a father of two, had been cheating on his wife with Rachel Uchitel, a New York party planner. Both Mr Woods and Ms Uchitel have denied the story.

According to tmz.com, quoting an unnamed friend of Woods, Ms Nordegren had “gone ghetto” on her husband, scratching him in a fight that prompted him to flee the house with her in hot pursuit. “We’re told Tiger told the friend Elin then followed him out of the house and struck the moving vehicle with the golf club, causing him to get distracted and hit the hydrant,” tmz.com reported.

Tiger should talk to the police about his wife.

I'm guessing in most states, someone has to be arrested in cases of domestic violence.

This would give him a chance to get busy with the party planner.

If Tiger was involved with another woman, that would certainly drive a wedge into his marriage. He needs to resist some of the fringe benefits of being a celebrity. That's no fair way to treat his wife.

It warms my heart a little to see that life in the gated community isn't much different than life in the trailer park. Substitute a pick-up truck, snow shovel, commode flower pot and waitress at Shoney's, for the Escalade, golf club, fire hydrant, and night club hostess, and you have everday Americana.

Holy Puns Batman!

This story does sound fishy, but I guess he has the right to keep it to himself if there isn't any criminal activity involved.

Do you think this "scandal" is going to tarnish his reputation? Up until now he has been drama free.
