Munque's future FIL has cancer.. he went in today so they could attempt to start removing it, but during the surgery, they found that the cancer is much more advanced than they thought. They close him back up and said they can't do anything for him.

They were going to send him home today. But now his oxygen levels are dropping and he is in a lot of pain. So they are keeping him in the hospital indefinitely.

Oh, no.

Jose had his first post op appointment today. Apparently the cancer is now spreading even more rapidly. They were hoping to be able to stop the spreading with hormones, but he is beyond that now. He still has a good month or so of healing before they re-assess him for radiation. But today they gave him less than a year, and that's if he can heal in time for radiation and they weren't real optimistic about that. Please pray for him to be able to maintain his positive attitude, if nothing else. Thank you.

Update: Jose was taken to the ER this morning for extreme pain in his legs. After the doc checked him all out they determined that the cancer has spread throughout his bones and they have admitted him again and are starting chemo today.
