Under our policy we do not allow the minor to make any transactions regarding the account with out the guardian/parent. What are thoughts on allowing the minor to make deposits to the account.

I don't have a problem with (notice I'm not saying that your state may not have verbiage regarding this in their finance code) -
we'll allow the minor or the guardian to deposit, but only the guardian to withdraw.
