I'm sure this has already been addressed, but I am having a hard time tracking down the answer.

On the new GFE, page one, under Summary of your loan, it says "Your loan term is __________ years." If we have a loan that is 165 months, or something else that isn't an exact year, how do we list it? Do we write 13.75 years? 13 3/4 years? Or do we round the number? How is everyone else listing this?

Thanks in advance.

We use Laser Pro documents and they are pulling in the year in decimals.

Thanks! How far are they carrying the decimal out? Just one place? Two?

We're looking at this field again. I looked at the GFE fillable form on HUD's website and it only shows a place to enter something for years. Can't find this addressed specifically in the GFE instructions or Q&A. Our form is showing 2 years 9 months as 2.9 years (which is 33 months). Does that seem correct?

Thank you.

Bump - anyone? Would it be better to do decimals? Thank you.

State of Confusion
I have a vague memory of reading that HUD wanted the decimal points but I can't find it.
