The new WSUD form (replacing the WSUPP as of 3/19/2010) will have a retention period of one year from the Settlement Date of the adjustment entry (there is not a stated retention period for the current WSUPP form in NACHA rules although the ODFI can request a copy for one year).
The other change is that the RDFI will have only 10 banking days (as opposed to the current 60 calendar days) to supply a copy of the WSUD when it's requested by the ODFI.
These changes were announced in NACHA's June 5, 2009 Notice of Amendment, Supplement #2-2009 to the ACH Rules.
