Is "residence is temporary" a valid reason to deny a loan application to a member of the military? As compliance officer, I'm having doubts, but can't find specifics in the reg. Thanks for any guidance.

As long as you deny everyone that has a temporary residence it would be OK, but how do you know that? Everyone moves now and then. Of course, that is not even mentioning the less than patriotic stance this buts the bank into. I would hate to see the service person holding the denial letter in front of the cameras.
