I LOVED the Birdcage. So much humor, IMHO. Sorry you didn't like it, MB. I second that! I watch it every time it's on

No need to be sorry, I just thought it was terrible, but that's my opinion.
I'd rather be slathered in honey and staked to a fire ant hill, lol, than watch that.
Not right, not wrong, just an opinion.
No worries friend!

Okay to all. No one mentioned A Fish Called Wanda. But also, Kevin Kline did another movie with Lawrence Kasdan called "I Love You To Death". Tracy Ullman and hillarious. Rent it if you can.

I'm not a huge Jim Carey fan but I laughed myself silly during Me, Myself and Irene.
Netflix delivered the Hangover today so I'll be watching that tonight, hopefully.

<<<--Was not impressed with The Hangover. Kept waiting for it to be funnier, but it never happened. I thought it was funny, but not as funny as everyone made it out to be.

I saw The Invention of Lying this weekend. It won't be for everyone but it was nicely ascerbic with a great subtle religous undertone to it.

Agree. I really need to watch it again. I quote the Jerk all the time too. Great movie.

I saw the Hangover recently too. I really liked it but I went into it thinking that it would be really stupid so I didn't have high expectations.

Agreed and I just don't see the appeal to this movie. I watched my husband laugh so loud he was almost in tears over the Hangover and There's Something About Mary and I'm just sitting there thinking "ok, that is somewhat amusing".

I watched The Hangover last night. Not as funny as I thought it would be. It was funny but I think I laughed harder at the gag reel than I did the actual movie.

Just saw "It's Complicated" this weekend and laughed and laughed. At times everyone was laughing so hard you couldn't hear the dialogue. It is one I will have to see again! See, now, I just didn't think it was that good. I enjoyed it, don't get me wrong, but I think I just had too high of expectations.
