Just wondering if anyone has Wii Fit Plus or the new game Jenny McCarthy is selling? I am trying to decide which one to buy (or if the Gold's Gym or Biggest Loser ones are better). I have WiiFit and while it was fun, I got bored with it after about a month.
So any thoughts?

Can't speak to either of those ones but my wife has the EA Active game and loves it. It provides a much tougher workout she says.

I have the Wii Fit plus and I like the additional games and exercises. EA Sports Personal Trainer is great, I'm actually thinking about getting the new version that is mainly sports exercises.

My sisters family got the Wii Fit Plus and brought it over for New Years. We all loved it. (I like when it makes your charecter "plump" after you answer the fitness questions ) Will have to look into the EA Sports personal trainer.

My husband bought me Wii Fit, my daughter bought me Wii Resorts, and we have quite a few other Wii games like Wii Boxing etc that seem like they would be quite beneficial. However, every time I go to try them out someone says, “Oh here, let me show you how to do that,” or “Let me try that,” or "Oh that looks like fun.” Mostly my butt is just getting bigger watching everyone else play this!! But, they do seem to be having a lot of fun and possibly losing weight and toning up

How expensive are the games/equipment you need for Wii Fit, etc.? We have a Wii and I was wondering about adding those to it, but the cost is going to affect the decision.

How do you do the Wii and watch a show at the same time?
Rie, the price of Wii is coming down. Watch for a sale so you can pick a second one up and set it up on elsewhere in your house. I may be doing the same thing 'cause I bought mine and now everyone else "...HAS to get their minutes in today'....yada yada yada.

How do you do the Wii and watch a show at the same time? You have to earn the free step. Once you do, get yourself started in it, start stepping, get the step speed to where you want it and then change the channel. The volume for free step comes through the reWii-mote We have our Wii set up as Video 2 in our TV, so I need to use the TV imput button on the remote, but it will also work if you are just using the RCA inputs in the front of the TV.

My parents want the Wii fitness so we'll probably get it for their anniversary.

Did some more research and there is a ton of good ratings for My Fitness Coach. EA Sports Active is highly rated also. Your Shape (the Jenny McCarthy game) is rated very low. So now I guess, for me, it's between My Fitness Coach and EA Sports Active, but I am still considering Wii Fit Plus too. On the Wii Fit Plus, is it the same types of games (like hula-hooping and ski jump?) or are there new things to do? I love the step program, but it is so BORING. I thought the advanced would be a new routine but instead it was the same thing for a longer time! I think someone said the new one has a 30 minute step program???

WiiFit Plus adds to the old WiiFit game. It has some of the same old games, plus lots of new stuff. We're enjoying it. And it automatically uses your WiiFit set up. Plus, you can add the family pet(s) Oh, the other things that I like, is that you can switch users more easily to take turns at the activites without having to go to the main menu each time.

I've been using the Wii Fit for a little over a year, and just got the Wii Fit Plus for Christmas. I like some of the new activities, haven't tried the 30-minute step yet, but am looking forward to it. I like the island bike ride.
Did you add your pets, QCL? Is that just so you can weigh them on the balance board, or do they show up in your games? Mine show up in the games...it's pretty cute when my Dalmatian goes running past me on all 4 legs in the game (she's crippled in one leg IRL so she only runs on 3)
