Buccs thanks for the smoothie recipes! I have some avacados at home that need to be used. I think I will try that out.

I have made a pumpkin smoothie that is delicious. I use canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling), ff plain yogurt, scoop of vanilla protien powder, sprinkle in some nutmeg, cinnamon, or pumpkin pie seasoning. Blend, enjoy! I have also sprinkled graham crackers in too, it adds some nice crunch smile

Congrats! That's the rub, you do well and you get less food. Oh well, that's part of it.

In my Strappy Heeled Sandals!
Okay... a bit behind in reporting....

First... congrats to all for the exciting news of weightlost, exercise picking up and those entering their maintance phases.... awesome job!

Last week gained 1 lb! eek

I was angry at myself, as this was the first gain since I started... but I quickly got over it and was determined to NOT gain this week.

That said... down 2.8 lbs.

For breakfast.... here are a few things I enjoy:

Fiber One ceral with 1/2 c ff milk (Over the Moon) & Fruit

Orowheat English Muffin, 1 slice ff american cheese, 1 egg, 1/2 cc ff milk & fruit (sometimes I add turkey sausage, or turkey bacon)

Lower Sugar Maple flavor oatmeal, fruit & 1/2 c ff milk

Fiber One pancakes, 1/4 sf syrup, yogurt, fruit

I try my best to make breakfast a good one...as it's what starts the metabolism!

Also... on WW they say to have "oil" twice daily... I have found that taking an Omega 3 pill works just as good as oil...and it doesn't cost me any points! Yay!

Well... here's to hearing about less of one another in this coming week! grin

As of this morning, I'm 4 pounds away from my goal. The scale is going down ever so slowly.

LOL...far far far from it. But I can tell that I'm getting stronger and my jeans are fitting looser.

The girl is well motivated! Makes it easy on the trainer and a pleasure to work with!
She has, quite literally, worked her butt off!

I think what he meant to say is that I'm very motivated to stick to my running training program, increase my strength training and stick to a balanced diet...all of which would make me an ideal client for a personal trainer. Right?

well, its a lot of extra typing but yes. although the srength training was a bit of a fight to get her motivated on. She has, however, done very well on it. Now if we can just keep our shoulders back....... :o)

My fiance and I started P90X yesterday. The workouts have been really challenging but awesome so far!
I just hope by the end of the week I can still move ... I am so sore today! Really looking forward to getting to do the yoga workout Thursday and stretch out my muscles.

Woo Hoo Buccs! That's quite a loss - way to go. I'm down two pounds over three weeks for a total of 35 lost and 3 pounds to goal. All of my plans to start weight lifting went out the window when I came down with a chest cold that lasted for about two weeks. I'm still coughing a bit, but feeling much better. On an unrelated note, please keep my husband in your thoughts this afternoon. He's been laid off for over a year now and has a job interview this afternoon. I really, really, really hope he gets this one!
