If I can save one of you from spending your hard earned money on this movie, then I will have accomplished something. One word - BORING!

No, and that's the proof in the pudding. My daughter did not like it. Plus, on the first evening it was out, there were only 10 other suckers in the thetare with us. Elf, by the way, was excellent!

I've heard from a lot of places that this movie was a great disappointment. One of the critics here in Milwaukee was looking for something new from Mike Meyers, but felt that he used some of the same tricks in this movie that he had used in his Austin Powers movie. I've also heard that people felt that Jim Carrey could have brought more talent to this movie.

My vote goes to Elf. It starts off slow, but kept the interest of my 3 & 5 year olds. Especially after Elf down a liter bottle of Coke.

Ew, Jim Carry is in it? Now I'm DEFINITELY not going to see it. I have heard good things about Elf, so will probably see that.

Thanks CubDave, but a day late and $25.50 short. Actually, my 5 and 7 year old liked it alright, but there were a couple of innuendo's that weren't appropriate, and I agree anyone older than 7 wouldn't be that impressed.

Im know - I probably missed a couple because I kept falling asleep, but the innuendo about the hoe was ridiculous and unnecessary.
