I did a minor a film (actually called cinema studies), i took a 'slasher film' class (along with russian, french, and 'new hollywood' film classes).

One of my English classes had a "rock poetry" module.

Listened to songs that wrote what we thought they meant.

The bonus question on my sociology final was to interpret "Born To Run" (Springsteen.)

I read comic books in one of my lower level lit classes. But karma got me back when I took the required feminism & lit classes- I had the "[censored] Monologues" assigned in 3 classes simultaneously. They're important stories, but if there's one thing I learned, if you are a male and there is a discussion about rape, do not talk. Don't even show up. Trust me.

I got an incomplete because I had to split.

There is also the time we created a slip-n-slide in the second floor hallway of my fraternity (using 25 ft long tarps). This only lasted one day until my roommate cut his chin.

Then we put the slip-n-slide in the front lawn (again, made with tarps). That got boring. So we put small orange cones as obstacles to 'avoid'. That too got boring. So then we made a pyramid of cardboard boxes to slide into. That too got boring.

then we piled the boxes again to slide through, only this time we set the boxes on fire. Good times. (hey, it was a slip-n-slide, we had a garden hose, so we thought it was safe, and nobody actually got hurt)

Jungle juice made in the bathtub - lined with garbage bags of course!!! Really sounds gross now! Can't believe I drank that! Which of course was followed the next day by the questions, we did what... with who???

Everclear has that "eraser" tendency...

So that I would fit in, my mom bought me alcohol and sent me back to college with it. Thx, Mom. Bartles and James made me real cool.

I drove drunk Zetas (sorority) home from a party at the fairgrounds and they all sang the "Mop, Mop, Mop" song to me (after first squealing 'Aren't you the stair-sweeper boy?'). Every.single.one.

long.

Then another time, I cleaned up after a Zeta party, for which I also taxied drunk students.

Um, yeah. My college days kind of sucked.

The drinking age when I was in college was 21, but we had no problem getting into bars as the Student Body president was a friend of ours so she let us in to the student id picture area and snapped our picture with the background color the same as the driver's licenses in our state for those over 21 (different color for those under 21) and we would then borrow an older student's licence, cut it open, paste our picture on it re-laminate it and we were in business!!!

one time.....I fell asleop during a lecture

I passed out drunk in class once. woke up to run out of class and threw up in the bathroom. i then passed out in the bathroom for an hour.

Day-drinking was popular at my school.

I wish I would have done more of that to get through my philosophy minor.

Remember the leather jackets that were the American flag on the back? I sat behind a girl that wore one in a calculus class and was so bored I counted the stars. realized after re counting several times, there was only about 30.
Sad thing is, I was the only one who thought it was wrong....

When I lived in the dorms, I found that my remote control for my tv could be re-programmed to other people's tv's. There was a 2 inch gap under all of the doors, so I would stick the remote control under other classmate's doors and change the channel mid-program. They seriously thought that the floor was haunted.

I also taped up the sides of a legal size manilla folder, filled it with shaving cream, slid the open side under the door, and jumped on the folder. I could get everything in a 20 foot radius.

That sounds like fun. Hum. . . .the boss's door is closed.

But we've learned that shaving cream actually cleans carpets. Interesting!

I'd never tell any college stories here. All the good ones would probably get censored.
