Us too! It makes me crazy, MOML will not make a decision!

I have a very simple theory for this epidemic of indecisiveness on a place to eat. If someone is not satisfied with the meal, no one wants to think they are responsbile for an unpleasant dining experience.

So if you don't pick, no one can be mad at you if the meal s*cks.

Oh - I hear you there! Wouldn't it be nice to come home from work and not have to THINK? About anything?

Maria--the problem is with your first answer. Knowing that he will not make a decision, do not ever throw it back in his court. Instead, when he asks that question, name the most expensive place you can think of. If he questions it, tell him that is REALLY where you want to eat. Get as specific as to name a dish they serve (even if you've never had it). He can do one of two things:

1. Pony up for the meal--after all, he did ask; or

2. He'll have to make a decision and begin the conversation with, "hey, I sure am in the mood for a McDonalds hamburger, how about you?"

Ok, I feel better now. Well not really but it was a nice thing to get off my chest instead of bellowing it here in the office.

LOL I'd say I'm glad to see my frustrations are catching, but I'd rather say that to someone who was taking them away from me.

Today I actually had to tell someone that "A National Expert on CRA" said....so she'd hush and belive me.

Sure I'm the national expert...heh heh I've taught in several states in the nation anyhoo, but who's checking names. Funny she believed someone she didn't even need a name for but me...she has to question!

Dawnie - that's hilarious! FWIW, you get my vote as a "national expert on CRA"!

LOL Well thank you Jill. So this means that when I say something to your people they won't immediately ask me to back it up with 42 reports and then attend 35 committee meetings to prove me wrong? (By the way...they've yet to prove me wrong LOL but they keep trying).

Oh and I wouldn't see that skeptical look I get when I tell them something is mandatory...something like:

LOL Babe...I'd pay for your examiner big stick on occasion...it shuts them up quicker than the "national expert" every time!

Well, you are welcome to tell them "An ex-examiner told me....." any old time. If you thought that would work. (Probably not, though, huh?)

LOL well probably not. They all pray that all of us compliance and examier types will become "ex's" one way or another so they don't have to listen to us.

Did I ever mention I was a lender? I was much nicer then I think
