The Louisiana Motor Vehicle Sales Finance Law permits a lender in a purchase money motor vehicle loan to assess an $18 convenience fee for services performed in obtaining a motor vehicle license and/or title on a purchaser's behalf.

My question is this...on loan documents do I show this fee with a description of "convenience fee" or do I put the title agency's name we are using for this service.

Since the bank is not allowed to keep any of the fee, I would say to put the PTA's name on the Disbursement.
