Cloud9 100 Club Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 208	Is the Federal Reserve's booklet, "A Consumer's Guide to Mortgage Settlement Costs" the same as HUD's Settlement Cost Booklet? Can we give it out instead and comply with RESPA? Thanks.

Dani York, CRCM Power Poster Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 3,663 TN	Someone mentioned in a different thread that HUD will no longer be issuing the booklets in hard copy and had cancelled all orders. We ordered through a vendor in January because HUD was taking too long and I got the booklets in 3 days (and not very expensive either). _________________________ I can't herd the cats anymore, so I just set up the electric fences and let them fry when they stray out of bounds.

It is the HUD version and they made them the same size as the old ones in booklet form (8.5x4). _________________________ I can't herd the cats anymore, so I just set up the electric fences and let them fry when they stray out of bounds.

HUD said they would not be doing anymore courtesy mailings. You either go online and print off the booklet or order from a vender. We ordered from where DD did.
