Bets on who's going to do Angie - I feel as if that person could really make that song their own. I'm hoping Casey James... clothing optional.

Stones? Wow. Talk about a train wreck waiting to happen! I agree. What's next Black Sabbath or Lou Reed? I'm actually really excited about Stones week.. a lot to work with.

I'm hoping Adam Lambert makes an appearance this season and screeches like a stuck pig.

I think he's just too much of a risk on primetime. His Grammy performance marked him as a huge liability.

I'm hoping to hear Siobhan do Sympathy for the Devil. Really? I'm thinking she could make something cool out of Paint it Black. She, Crystal, Casey, and Lee are the only ones who *might* not completely butcher Stones.

I don't think Adam officially came out until after the show was over.

(well, that's per wiki)

I don't think Adam officially came out until after the show was over. He was never "in". The fans sites talked about it plenty from day 1. They made it public on the show near the very end in a conversation with the guy who beat him out in the finals.

I am with Becca 100% on Siobhan doing Paint It Black. That was the very first thing that came to my mind as well.

They should really rename this show, "American How Dull".

What did everyone think last night? I was completely underwhelmed by all of them, but I am not a Rolling Stones fan, so I was unfamiliar with probably half the songs.
Lee needs to learn to enunciate just a bit when he is singing. I thought most of his song was pretty unintelligible.
I liked Siobhan, Didi, Casey, and Andrew the best. Aaron was better last night than I expected him to be. Probably the worst in my opinion was Tim Urban. I think Paige, Katie and Lacy could go at any time, too.

I really liked that kid's version of Angie.
I also enjoyed Siobhan, Didi, and Casey.
I did not like Big Mike for some reason.
I think your going home at any time choices are right on!

On the whole, they did better than I expected.
Siobhan rocked! Crystal was amazing, as always. Casey was good. Lee was good - his nerves are getting the better of him. Mike & Didi - meh. Not impressive, but not bad. Katie can sing, but something about her bugs me. The rest can go home any time now.
