Our vice president made a request for a right to cure letter for an overdrawn deposit account. Are there any out there, or is a right to cure letter for a deposit account not allowed under Iowa Law? We have been requested to send one to the customer's attorney.

You are not required to send a right to cure on a checking account overdraft since it is not considered a consumer loan. You are not required to send it but you can if you wish.
