I'm betting my kiszka on Nicole. She did a gorgeous Vienese Waltz. Evan to place...as long as he learns to look at Anna. Don't know who's going to come in third place. Nobody else really impressed me...'cept for maybe Pamela. smirk

Most of them weren't that good. I didn't get to see much of Chad, but he looked pretty good - a little stiff. Most of them were very stiff. More so than usual for the first week. I feel sorry for Kate. She has no entertainment experience to draw from and it is hard for her.

But Buzz is just downright horrible and has to go home.

I agree that Nicole was the best and Buzz needs to go home. Does anyone know what dances they are doing next week?

I thought I heard either Bruno or Len say something about the foxtrot.

What was going on with Pamela? She was just oozing the sleeze factor last night. Nasty. Kate needs to go home and take care of her kids. She can not dance and looked so uncomfortable...

Wasn't that why Ms. Anderson was invited?

I didn't think kate looked that bad. Certainly better than the Neicy and Buzz. God those two were awful.

Chad was a bit stiff, which surprised me, but I thought Erin, Nicole, and even *shockingly* Pam Anderson did pretty well.

Oh, and Anna is one hot hot hot tamale!

Chad was surprisingly on the balls of his feet last night, something Len loves but didn't comment on. I think if he relaxes he'll be around and may even take my 'show' placing.

Kate's now got the first one under her belt. I'm for giving her another week or two to see if she can relax and improve.

Neicy was fun to watch. If anybody can teach anyone to dance, it's Louie.

Buzz is the token old dancer. They have one every season to show that life doesn't end at 50. You gotta give him props for trying.

Pam is too cocky and not focused enough to last long. As soon as Nicole does something with bump and grind in it, Pam will go.

I'm changing my "women will vote her out 'cause she's purty" candidate to Pam, by the way, and I think Nicole will last to the top 5.

Why 5 less dancers this year? Anyone know?

Buzz may be the token old guy, but he's just too, too old. Geez, if he'd have to the jive or quickstep, I'd worry he'd collapse. Seriously.

Pulling people out of the ditc...
okay people, the "time to get a life police" are here...instead of watching DWTS, you need to be out dancing yourself...

P.B., Buzz isn't meant to last till the jive or quickstep and he knows it. He was just meant to be there to show that old people can still move around a dance floor even if it's slower. Let's face it, Donnie winning last season was a push too because he's 53! He's in good shape from doing his nightclub act that has dancing in it but still.... There's going to be an older star that comes in and gives the young 'uns a run for their money sometime. They just haven't found the one to do it yet.

I understand that Truff, but Buzz was just sad last night, and it's not fair to his partner.

He would be funny - also Alec Baldwin.

Now that I think of it, I'm surprised that they haven't gotten one of the Baldwins.

I'm just thinking of Steve Martin's moves from back in the "Wild and Crazy Guy" era translating to the dance floor!

Didn't Steve Martin have a song about King Tut?

One benefit of having the obvious early eliminations, like Buzz, is that some of the others will improve really really fast if given a chance - having some easy eliminations buys alittle time for them.

That's IF Buzz is the one to get voted off.

I wouldn't be surpised if one of the middle of the pack folks gets voted off before Buzz, since he will be getting sympathy votes. This is probably the riskiest week for Ochocinco!

cease and desist with the old men jokes!

There is a country for old men! Ooh, Robert Duvall would be a great 80 year old guy for this gig! He did a movie not too long ago about an aging assasin down in South America in which he did quite a bit of dancing.

"For Duvall, the making of Assassination Tango in 2002 is the culmination of a long-held dream, combining two worlds he loves so much."

In the tango, Duvall finds an amalgam of contradictions, which is what makes it so appealing and also parallels his character.

The tango is sweetness. Some people call it sensual. Some call it sexual. Others would disagree because a mother can tango with her son, a father with his daughter. It's a very personal kind of thrust and a world that's very special."

While he was done in Argentina, he met and married someone who loves the tango as much as he does. He would be great on DWTS.

I agree that someone will go before Buzz. I'm thinking someone like Shannon Dougherty.

Speaking of Dougherty.....

Did anyone else feel like those tears were overacted and fake, or was it just me?
