Most of them weren't that good. I didn't get to see much of Chad, but he looked pretty good - a little stiff. Most of them were very stiff. More so than usual for the first week. I feel sorry for Kate. She has no entertainment experience to draw from and it is hard for her.
But Buzz is just downright horrible and has to go home.

I agree that Nicole was the best and Buzz needs to go home. Does anyone know what dances they are doing next week?

Wasn't that why Ms. Anderson was invited?

Why 5 less dancers this year? Anyone know? Buzz may be the token old guy, but he's just too, too old. Geez, if he'd have to the jive or quickstep, I'd worry he'd collapse. Seriously.

I understand that Truff, but Buzz was just sad last night, and it's not fair to his partner.

He would be funny - also Alec Baldwin.
Now that I think of it, I'm surprised that they haven't gotten one of the Baldwins.

Didn't Steve Martin have a song about King Tut?

One benefit of having the obvious early eliminations, like Buzz, is that some of the others will improve really really fast if given a chance - having some easy eliminations buys alittle time for them.

That's IF Buzz is the one to get voted off.

cease and desist with the old men jokes!
There is a country for old men! Ooh, Robert Duvall would be a great 80 year old guy for this gig! He did a movie not too long ago about an aging assasin down in South America in which he did quite a bit of dancing.

"For Duvall, the making of Assassination Tango in 2002 is the culmination of a long-held dream, combining two worlds he loves so much."
In the tango, Duvall finds an amalgam of contradictions, which is what makes it so appealing and also parallels his character.
The tango is sweetness. Some people call it sensual. Some call it sexual. Others would disagree because a mother can tango with her son, a father with his daughter. It's a very personal kind of thrust and a world that's very special."
While he was done in Argentina, he met and married someone who loves the tango as much as he does. He would be great on DWTS.

I wouldn't be surpised if one of the middle of the pack folks gets voted off before Buzz, since he will be getting sympathy votes. This is probably the riskiest week for Ochocinco! I agree that someone will go before Buzz. I'm thinking someone like Shannon Dougherty.
