I wonder if the left lane speed is in some states at least, more of an un-written law so to speak, a common sense thing

since I learned to drive it's been known that the left lane is the passing lane and if I saw someone coming up behind me I would most likely move over

but there have been times where the smart ass part of me (which by the way is roughly 99.99% of me) would mess with someone, but I usually reserve that for people weeving in and out of traffic without signaling

too slow is considered if someone comes up behind you going faster
