So they always decide to show up at critical deadlines to ask questions...asking them to set an appointment time to discuss their questions is apparently to difficult...telling them to come back later gives a look of shock...I told one that i'd be here at 7:00 AM tomorrow and will have an hour of time to give to him; he said "I don't get in until 9." I told him that if he needed an hour, that is when I had it...sheesh, get in the real world, people

One time when my IA said he had to have something "that day" (I knew I would have it but just wanted to jerk him around a little bit), I told him that I couldn't have it until Monday. When he said that was unacceptable I e-mailed him back, "Well, I guess they'll just have to fire me then." He responded that they could wait until Monday. I got it to him that afternoon at 4:55...

somebody's got a 'tude..............and I have never heard of any IAs that show up at 9:00 a.m.

they office from home, so if they actually have to come into the bank, they come in later to miss traffic...although they claim they have been working all morning (yeah, like I buy either excuse)...

4 years running with "Outstanding" ratings and no comments from any areas I manage, and we are the most heavily audited segment of the bank, thank you very much...

No, a Friday. Also, it was stuff being prepared for the examiners for MY PORTION OF THE EXAM, so it was my butt in a sling if it wasn't ready, not his...he was just sticking his nose in where it didn't belong.

The funny thing is this...Compliance almost got downgraded because the IA had not audited Compliance within a certain timeframe...I came through the exam with not even a recommendation!

I hate it when the auditor wants me to explain the regulation being audited. How can you audit something you're not familiar with? Read the reg, then do the audit.
