I trust everyone had a great weekend, sunny skies and low 70s, low humidity for south La. Couldn't ask for better spring weather!

Oh, the weather is beautiful! I am so in the hole with my electric bill (budget billing) - its so nice to turn off the heat/AC. I've warned Kid Wonder - it won't be coming back on for a while.

Cold and windy with the sun peeking out here and there, but this is suppose to be a better week.

we are getting our AC replaced today. It is only 4 years old (thanks katrina) and under warranty, so it will only cost $700 to replace (silly me, and I thought under warranty meant everything was covered, but in the AC world no labor is covered).

My AC/Heating unit is 23 years old. It had to be repaired this winter and the repairman told me it wouldn't last much longer. He said they didn't even make this kind any longer. The entire unit is outside - there is no "utility closet" with a unit in the house. So, I must try to find something decent that's not too expensive this year. He said I should see an immediate savings on my power bill with a newer model PLUS if I buy before the end of 2010, I will get my 30% tax credit - up to $1500. That should help.

About the same as PB BUT our son will be on his way home from Kuwait our time at 3 this afternoon and will arrive in OHIO around 10 AM Tuesday morning. WOOHOO!

Weather in the 50s today, 60s tomorrow and 70s by Wednesday. Of course the weekend's supposed to be back in the 50s but hey, I'll take it!

I have two big ol' airconditioners just sitting outside my house. One's for the upstairs and on the down but we pretty much just run them once a year to make sure they still work. The cross ventilation in our house and a couple of fans are all we need. I HATE living in a closed environment year round. I have to do it in the winter but I'll be danged if I'm not going to open my windows in the Spring and Summer.

so pj won't be working Tuesday nor be on BOL nor playing Farkle or farmtoons......

40-72 degrees and sunny in Central Texas. Wish I was at home working in the yard.

Happy's right - the weather here was gorgeous this weekend and continues to be today!

Even spent some time sitting on a friend's pier over looking the river. It was good to see the boats, water skiers, etc. out and about.

Sunny skies in the Sierras of California, today's forecasted high is 73....tomorrow, though, a storm is moving in and snow is likely later this week.

The forecasted highs the next three days around Minneapolis are in the low 70s.
