Swiggles, I'm so sorry to hear that. MS is a terrible, terrible disease.

Alek Wek (extremely tall & beautiful African model) asked me for directions when I worked at Walt Disney World.

And my mom tells the story that Marty Robbins waved to me at a concert when I was a baby.

When I was in the Army in California, I moonlighted as a security guard and on one assignment, Clint Eastwood came up to talk to me at the Monterey Jazz Festival. I was working the gate at the fairgrounds and after most everyone else had long since arrived, an old pickup truck entered the parking lot and Clint stepped out and walked up. He is an extremely nice guy.

This past fall, my wife and I met Fred Thompson and several others of the cast and crew of "Alleged" which is a new movie about the Scopes Monkey Trial. We were invited by the director to watch some of the filming. Senator Thompson is a very impressive gentleman.

You're correct. It's Sheryl. My next door office mate's name is Cheryl. I just automatically typed it that way.

Last summer, i ran into John Wall & DeMarcus Cousins outside of B-Dubs in Lexington, and I had my picture taken with them. Not everyday you run into potential NBA Lottery picks.

Another infamous is Brenda Andrews, who killed her husband. She was a loan secretary that worked in an OKC bank for years and years with us. Alot of us freaked out when we heard the new.

"It happened on November 20, 2001 in an Oklahoma City suburb when Brenda Andrew lured her estranged husband to her home to pick up their two children. Brenda told him that the pilot light of the furnace was out and while he bent to fix it James Pavatt came quietly up behind Rob and shot him in the side with a 16 gauge shotgun. In vain, Rob grabbed at a garbage bag full of empty soda cans trying to protect himself, but Brenda took the gun from Pavatt and blasted her husband in the chest. Afterwards she used a .22 caliber pistol to shoot herself in the arm and told police that she and Rob had been the victims of masked intruders"

I know right? Plus a buddy of mine family owned the other funeral on the other side of town... that was always interesting to hang out there.

And, when I was in college, I lived kitty corner to another funeral home, although I never recall them having a funeral there in the two years I lived at that place... that was kinda creepy.

Johnny Michael Spann, the first US combat fatality in the war after 9/11 was raised in my hometown. I go to church with his mom and daughters. His children are smart and beautiful and will contribute great things to this world.
