We aren't closed. Independently owned and in competition with another intependently owned bank. The CEOs wouldn't close if it was the last day on earth.

Closing at noon. Used to re-open at 3 but haven't for a few years.

Closing at noon. Used to re-open at 3 but haven't for a few years. That reminds me when I worked for Arlington National Bank - the bank used to close for (I think) 2 hours each afternoon and then reopen.

We're open as usual - but I'll be out on the semi-annual girl's weekend shopping trip! Woo-hoo

If the Feds open - we're open. wish we could have the GA Banking Department's Schedule - they get Robert E Lee's Birthday and Confederate Memorial Day! I had never even heard of these holidays. Of course, they're also "getting" 3 furlough days this year (without pay).

We've been open for Good Friday for years with no afternoon closures. My first banking job, at a smaller CU used to close from 12-3 on Good Friday... they finally ened that once it was realized that no one actually went to mass, but instead we all walked three buildings over to the local VFW to tie one on before going back to finish the day out. The fact when we walked in and they had pitchers ready for us was the tipping point for management. No biggie really, we still had the ongoing Friday afternoon cocktails going in the employee lounge.

We're open with normal Friday hours. I've never worked at a bank that closed or closed early on Good Friday But that's ok, most of the department is out the next few days so I'll be hanging out by myself fielding all the phonecalls. I plan on leaving a little early on Friday, but only because my parents and brother are arriving on Friday night to spend Easter with us. I took Monday off, but you didn't ask about that, so I don't know why I'm even mentioning it. LMAO

We close at 2 PM on Good Friday, same as Christmas Eve.

We close from noon to 3 and then reopen. Ah, the good ol' days! I didn't think anyone did that any more. It was hard for the tellers to balance after drinking their lunch!
