Do we no longer have to report to the State when a customer dies, no matter what the amount in the account or how the account is styled?

Effective January 1, 2010--H.B. 1172 repealed the law that required reporting to the Oklahoma Tax Commission any decedent accounts.
"Oklahoma Estate Tax Repeal: 2010
The Oklahoma estate tax was repealed effective Jan. 1, 2010. HB 1172XX, §6; repealing 68 O.S. 2001, §§801-825, as amended; effective Jan. 1, 2010."

You still need to report if the customer died prior to 2010 and you are just receiving notice.
